This blog is a pictorial record of the construction of our new Training Centre
The 'STRAW BALE' Build
We have built our own Training Centre, a timber-frame construction with straw bale infill. This blog is a pictorial record of its construction. Trust Links appointed a Project Manager who oversaw the build which was done by our volunteers, under the supervision of our Head Gardener. A Steering Group was set up to harness community involvement and guide the build. Trust Links is very keen to recruit people to help with the new Centre.
To help with the build process Trust Links has launched its Sponsor a Bale initiative. All donations are very much welcomed and donors' names will be placed upon the wall of the new Centre when it is completed.

GROWING TOGETHER, SOUTHEND-ON-SEA, ESSEX
The GROWING TOGETHER Plot is run by Trust Links, a local charity meeting a local need. We believe in supporting people and building communities. Our charity aims to help people in need in Southend and its surrounding districts and we concentrate particularly upon mental health and learning difficulties.
As part of our work we feel forming links and bridges between the different partnerships in Southend is essential. For more information about Trust Links go to www.trustlinks.org
